Fold Loft
Fold Loft is a paper ceiling installation created by combining repeatable series of origami pieces. The surface of the paper is modified through folds, allowing the paper to transform from a flat surface to a surface with structural strength and doubly curved elasticity. The individual pieces self-support through interlocking and the overall shape was defined using an analog algorithm method.
