Drip Table

This furniture project is a prototype table made of solid white oak wood. The combination of analog with digital techniques make possible the unique finishes of this table. The undulating surface on the bottom of the piece offers a discrete design feature that elicits both a visual and tactile engagement from the user. The design of this surface was created using fluid dynamics software to simulate the behavior of a fluid about to drip.
