Our goal is to make work that can support different experiences, uses, and interpretations over time.
People encounter public art repeatedly and under circumstances that are rarely controlled. They walk past it on the way to work. Children move around it. It is seen from cars at speed. Plants grow beside it. Sunlight and weather change it. Communities develop their own relationships to it over time.
We consider all of these conditions part of the artwork and actively design for them.
